The present invention relates generally to fans and, more specifically, to an exhaust fan flying insect discharge system having a housing mountable in a window or wall having a fan motor and a plurality of LED'S. When energized, the LED'S are illuminated, attracting the insects which are drawn into the fan air currents and out the exhaust.

The insect exhaust fan provides means for expelling flying insects through a fan's rear exhaust by providing a plurality of low voltage lighting elements positioned on the front of the fan, which will attract flying insects that will be caught in the fan air currents and expelled out through the exhaust. The low voltage lighting that attracts the insects can be positioned at any point on the exterior of the fan housing or fan exhaust wall depending on the design intent that may include lighting for purely decorative purposes or functional purposes such as a night light.
